Pega Lead System Architect (LSA) with Pega Version 24and Above with Exposure to AI Client InsuranceLocation: Manhattan - NYC - 3 days office OR Clinton Town Office NJ Duration – 10 monthsKey ResponsibilitiesArchitecture & Design LeadershipOwn end-to-end Pega solution architecture, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainabilityDefine and govern enterprise Pega architecture standards and best practicesLead design of case management, decisioning, and integration architecturesEnsure compliance with Pega guardrails and architectural principlesAct as the final technical authority on design and implementation decisionsAI, Decisioning & OptimizationArchitect and guide implementation of Pega AI / Decisioning / Next-Best-Action (NBA) solutionsDrive process optimization and intelligent automation initiativesIdentify opportunities for AI-driven insights to improve business outcomesLead application performance tuning and optimizationIntegration & Data ArchitectureDesign and oversee integrations using REST/SOAP APIsLead database design and optimization using Oracle and SQLEnsure secure, scalable interactions with enterprise systemsGuide teams on data modeling, data pages, and caching strategiesTechnical & Team LeadershipMentor and guide Pega developers, Senior Engineers, and Tech LeadsConduct design reviews, code reviews, and architectural walkthroughsPartner with Product Owners, Business Architects, and QA leadsProvide production support guidance and root-cause analysis for critical issuesAgile & Delivery ManagementServe as technical lead in Agile/Scrum environmentsSupport sprint planning, PI planning, and release executionTrack technical work and dependencies using JiraCollaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure on-time, high-quality deliveryQuality Engineering & AutomationDrive API testing using PostmanPromote test automation using MABL (QA Automation)Define quality standards, non-functional requirements, and acceptance criteriaSupport CI/CD aligned design and automated testing strategiesRequired Skills & ExperienceCore SkillsPega Platform (PRPC) – Certified Pega Lead System Architect (CLSA) requiredStrong experience in Pega architecture, design, and governancePega AI / Decisioning / OptimizationOracle Database and advanced SQLREST/SOAP integrationsPostman for API testingMABL for QA automationAgile / ScrumJiraNice to Have ExperienceInsurance, Financial Services, or HealthcareExposure to DevOps / CI-CD pipelinesCloud experience (AWS / Azure)Experience leading large-scale enterprise transformationsSoft SkillsStrong architectural and problem-solving mindsetExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsProven experience influencing technical and business leadersAbility to mentor and build high-performing teamsCertifications (Mandatory / Preferred)Pega CLSA – MandatoryCSSA (preferred)SAFe / Agile certification (nice to have)
