Make a meaningful impact as a Speech-Language Pathologist delivering dedicated support to students in a dynamic school setting. As a contractor working full-time (35 hours weekly), you'll collaborate with talented educational teams at Buffalo Creek Middle School and Prine Elementary. This assignment spans from now through late May 2027 and focuses on providing both direct therapy and consultative services to a diverse student population.

You’ll work within engaging environments—Buffalo Creek features two low cognitive units and a behavior unit, with a caseload of approximately 50 students requiring direct therapy and an additional 10 receiving consultative services. At Prine, join a supportive team that includes an experienced SLP and a skilled SLPA, serving a variety of PK and special education classes, reaching about 95 students collaboratively.

Qualifications:

• Current and valid licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Florida
• School-based SLP experience preferred, but strong clinical backgrounds are welcome
• Ability to work on-site each day at assigned campuses
• Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech, language, and communication evaluations for students as needed
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans and IEPs
• Deliver direct and consultative therapy within special and general education settings
• Maintain thorough documentation and participate in IEP meetings
• Collaborate with other SLPs, educators, and support staff to optimize student outcomes
• Adapt to the needs of unique classrooms, including behavioral and low cognitive settings
