Travel EP Lab RN Role & Responsibilities: The EP Lab RN plays a vital role in treating patients with cardiac conditions, assisting electrophysiologists during procedures such as ablations and device implants. Key duties include conducting patient assessments, supporting procedures, administering medications, monitoring cardiac responses, and providing post-procedure care. They ensure patient safety, maintain sterile techniques, and collaborate with the healthcare team to develop treatment plans, adhering to safety and infection control protocols. Qualifications & Skills: Candidates need at least one year of recent EP lab experience, a valid RN license, and current BLS and ACLS certifications. Preferred qualifications include PALS or ENPC and specific certifications like RCES or RCIS. Essential skills encompass critical thinking, excellent communication, physical endurance, technical proficiency, and the ability to work under pressure. Strong interpersonal, motor, sensory, and mental skills are required for effective patient care and team collaboration. Key Duties: Perform comprehensive assessments, educate patients, assist with procedures, monitor patient responses, respond to changes, and ensure safe recovery. Maintain sterile practices and equipment, support treatment planning, and follow safety standards. Additional duties are assigned as needed.
