Job Description As part of our dedicated administrative team, you'll support the seamless operations of Henry Ford Health, ensuring patients receive exceptional care across our network. Your role is integral to our mission-driven environment, where collaboration and innovation thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced setting. Role Overview As a Patient Registration Rep, you are the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience. You'll manage patient registration, insurance verification, and cash collections, while advocating for patient needs. Your work directly supports clinical and non-clinical teams, contributing to a smooth and compassionate healthcare journey for every patient. What You Will Do Greet and check in patients, ensuring a positive first impression. Verify insurance eligibility and collect payments accurately. Update patient registration and insurance information in our systems. Respond to inquiries from callers and customers with professionalism. Advocate for patients to ensure their needs are met promptly. Manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions. Qualifications Required High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. Strong computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Ability to provide exceptional customer service in person, over the phone, and in writing. Preferred One (1) year of experience in patient admitting, registration, or insurance verification in a healthcare setting. EPIC training or experience.
