More information about the company and franchising opportunities is available at Role Description The Assistant General Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Spring Valley, NY, responsible for supporting overall park operations and guest experience. This role assists in supervising daily activities on the park floor, including staff scheduling, shift management, and maintaining safety and cleanliness standards. The Assistant General Manager helps lead and coach team members, supports hiring and training processes, and ensures adherence to company policies and operational procedures. Daily responsibilities include monitoring guest service, addressing concerns, overseeing cash handling and basic financial reporting, and supporting special events and group bookings. The role collaborates closely with the General Manager to implement promotional initiatives, drive revenue, and maintain a positive, engaging work environment. Qualifications Operational management skills, including supervising staff, coordinating schedules, and overseeing daily park activities. Customer service and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to create positive guest experiences and handle concerns professionally. Team leadership capabilities, including coaching, performance feedback, and supporting hiring and training processes. Safety and compliance awareness, with attention to cleanliness, risk management, and adherence to company and local regulations. Basic administrative and financial skills, such as cash handling oversight, reporting, and use of point-of-sale and scheduling systems. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across all levels of the organization. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by a family entertainment environment.
