Senior Construction Manager - Greater Los Angeles

Role Description As the Senior Construction Manager, you will lead the design and construction of buildings and engineering projects, acting as the Owner’s representative for new and renovation projects. You will ensure overall quality, schedule, and performance results of assigned projects. Role Accountabilities Manage new construction and renovation projects through design, construction, and completion. Conduct capital planning and financial reporting on assigned projects. Ensure compliance with state, local, and client requirements. Review contractor schedules and prepare project master schedules, budgets and cost estimates. Analyze critical path updates, schedule progress, evaluate schedule options, and communicate status to stakeholders. Create detailed engineering cost reports, change notices and other cost control tools. Maintain project schedules and alert the team to potential problem areas. Monitor general contractor and subcontractor adherence to safety standards. Prepare detailed material, labor and equipment cost estimates for design development documents, bid documents, and change orders. Estimate and negotiate change orders. Evaluate RFIs, submittals and field memos for cost impact. Understand various contract procurement forms and administration methods. Deliver projects on time, within budget, and within scope of work. Produce reports and briefings using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Generate project reports utilizing PMIS systems and software. Qualifications & Experience Minimum 10 years of construction management experience. Licensed professional or Certified Construction Manager (CCM). Educational background in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. The salary range for this position is $125,000 - $190,000. Actual salaries will vary based on experience, education, budget, and location.
