School Physical Therapist | Milton, Delaware

A school-based physical therapy position is available in Milton, DE, offering an opportunity to provide specialized care to a sixth-grade student. This onsite contract role requires a licensed PT or PTA to deliver targeted physical therapy services aligned with clearly defined goals. The schedule is flexible, with up to 5 hours per week, starting approximately April 6, 2026, depending on final arrangements.

Assignment Type: Contract, onsite

Schedule: Up to 5 hours per week

Start Date: April 6, 2026 (flexible)

Client: One 6th-grade student


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct physical therapy services to a single sixth-grade student
  • Implement and follow clear, individualized therapy goals
  • Collaborate with school staff to support student progress and adjust interventions as needed
  • Maintain detailed records of therapy sessions and progress updates
  • Adhere strictly to onsite service requirements to ensure consistency in care
Qualifications:
  • Valid licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
  • Experience in school-based physical therapy preferred
  • Ability to work onsite with one student in a school environment
  • Strong communication skills for coordinating with educators and families
