Formulation Scientist

Job Description Key Responsibilities Formulation Preparation Accurately weigh reagents and excipients per formulation SOPs Mix and prepare formulations according to written protocols Analytical Testing (UPLC) Prepare samples and run UPLC for formulation/content analysis Follow SOPs for method setup, solvent/mobile phase prep, sample injection, and data analysis Characterization Testing Perform texture analyzer testing on microneedle arrays (e.g., mechanical strength, insertion force) per SOP Perform microscopic evaluation of microneedle arrays (e.g., needle integrity, morphology) per SOP Maintain accurate lab notebooks/records for all tasks performed Follow all lab safety and documentation standards Qualifications: Qualifications Required Background & Skills MS/PhD: 1-2 yrs exp or BS: 3-5 yrs exp Hands-on experience in a pharmaceutical, biotech, or analytical chemistry lab Demonstrated experience with formulation prep: accurate weighing, calculations, and mixing per SOP Demonstrated experience running UPLC/HPLC, including solvent/mobile phase prep, sample injection, and data analysis Exposure to texture analyzer testing and microscopy are a plus Additional Information Position is full-time, working Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m.-5:00p.m overtime as needed Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Indianapolis, IN are encouraged to apply.
