Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit (Nursing)We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our dynamic Intensive Care Unit (ICU). This nursing position is crucial in providing high-quality care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced environment.Unit InformationThe Medical ICU consists of 30 beds, serving a diverse patient population with varying critical conditions, including:SepsisHeart FailureHypertensive EmergencyRespiratory FailureCOPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease)Chronic Kidney DiseaseType 2 Diabetes Mellitus (TDM2)Alcohol Use/Awareness and Substance AbuseStatus EpilepticusEncephalopathyResponsibilitiesThe Registered Nurse in the ICU will be responsible for the following:Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, monitoring vital signs and changes in condition.Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.Operate and manage life-support equipment, including ventilators and other advanced technology.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.Participate in patient and family education regarding care plans, treatments, and discharge planning.Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.QualificationsMust possess a valid and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license.Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting.Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications are required.Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a high-pressure and fast-paced environment.Strong critical thinking, organizational, and communication skills.We encourage qualified candidates who are passionate about critical care nursing to apply for this challenging yet rewarding position.
