Details Medical ICU (MICU) unit within a large academic medical center Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM May be scheduled every other weekend 50% of holidays encountered during the contract are required Floating within the ICU cluster; if not needed in the ICU cluster, may be floated to Med/Surg areas Cerner charting used; experience preferred but not required Requirements Active MO or Compact RN license currently in hand — no pending licenses accepted Minimum 2 years of overall RN experience and at least 1 year of ICU experience required Prior experience in a large facility or academic medical center required BLS required (standard for ICU RN roles) Ability to ambulate, reach, and lift/move objects weighing 20 lbs or more, with or without reasonable accommodation 2 professional references required Any requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at time of consideration Additional Information First-time travelers with solid ICU experience from a large facility or academic center will be considered Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for the travel rate; candidates within 75 miles may be considered at a reduced rate Role involves routine contact with patients who may have contagious illnesses This is a 13-week contract at a 24/7 healthcare facility — rotating shifts, holiday coverage, and availability during inclement weather are expected American Traveler Job ID #P-726127.
