Job Summary
We are seeking a talented Carpenter to join our team! In this role, you will construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures of wood, plywood, metal studs and wallboard using the carpenter’s hand and power tools. The ideal candidate is hard-working and dedicated to producing quality work. If you are an experienced Carpenter with a positive attitude, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
Follow all safety rules and regulations
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Use blueprints, sketches, or building plans to determine construction requirements and materials needed
Construct wood structures including framing, joists, and rafters
Install fixtures and materials such as windows, flooring, trim, and hardware
Interact with customers, suppliers, and other construction professionals
Attendance is very important
Qualifications
Previous experience as a Carpenter is preferred
Strong understanding of mathematical concepts and measurements
Ability to read and take action on blueprints
Ability to safely operate hand and power carpentry tools
Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects
Working alarm clock and dependable transportation
Installation of metal stud framing
Installation of acoustical ceilings
Installation of millwork and trim
Installation of FRP
Installation of drywall
