Job Description As a Security Officer Dispatch Center in Richardson, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Dispatch Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will coordinate communications, monitor activity, manage access control and badge-related requests, and support timely responses to security-related incidents. You will provide outstanding customer service while helping maintain an organized, welcoming environment. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon10:00 PM - 06:00 AMFri10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSat06:00 PM - 06:00 AMSun06:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a commercial real estate location. Monitor dispatch communications, receive and prioritize calls for service, and coordinate the deployment of security professionals to incidents, requests, and critical situations. Maintain accurate records of calls, incidents, dispatch activity, and/or shift communications in accordance with site procedures. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating relevant information to appropriate personnel and emergency responders as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, as assigned, while monitoring access points, cameras, alarms, and other security-related systems. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 1 year of security-related experience. Be at least 21 years of age. A guard card or license is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
