Technical Engineer - AM

This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems. The role involves engineering operations and the direction of technicians, vendors, and subcontractors. The work environment is a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility with an office team that includes Maintenance Mechanics, HVAC Techs, Plumbers, and Electricians.

The typical working day includes performing root cause analysis, providing technical guidance to technicians, developing preventive maintenance programs, creating job plans, validating commissioning information for new equipment, and performing asset lifecycle evaluations.

The position requires facility experience with HVAC, water systems, and air systems. Preferred skills include the ability to work independently and in a team environment, customer service skills, and the ability to communicate technical issues to non-technical persons. A minimum of 5 years of experience and an engineering degree are required. Proficiency in using the CMMS system and Microsoft Office products is also necessary.

The role offers the potential to convert to a permanent full-time employee (FTE) after a 5-month assignment.
