Apply today!Job DescriptionThe Nuclear Power Training Unit (NPTU) Charleston maintains the Moored Training Ships (MTS) and their support system to Navy Nuclear Propulsion Program (NNPP) standards so that NPTU Charleston can fulfil the vital role of providing nuclear-trained Sailors to the Fleet. MTS Engineering, located at NPTU Charleston, is seeking an experienced individual for a Quality Engineer role. The successful candidate will be responsible for interfacing with Navy and Civilian personnel who maintain the MTSs and their support systems to ensure they have the right training, engineering support, and supervision to perform first-time quality maintenance. This is an excellent position for those who desire experience with the technical requirements and oversight of maintenance as well as facilitating self-assessment and continuous improvement.
