8- Hour Shift, Monday – Friday

Position Summary

Provides direction and support to the Assembly and Service departments. Responsible for identifying, tracking and reporting quality problems to LS Mtron headquarters and manufacturing facilities. Supports and manages rework campaigns to correct quality problems in the field. Investigates and determines the cause of customer complaints and equipment failures. Assists with the development of new products and modifications to existing products. Assists with testing of new products.

Position Duties and Responsibilities

Quality Assurance. Reviews field failure reports and warranty claims to identify and track quality problems and trends. Provides feedback and reports to LS Mtron corporate headquarters and manufacturing facilities concerning quality issues with products. Provides support for teams of technicians and service managers during quality rework campaigns. Assists with progress management to ensure problems are corrected in a timely manner.

Provides technical support and advice to assembly operations to resolve or prevent quality problems.

Investigates and helps to establish cause of equipment failures and customer complaints. Assists with the development or modification of products to meet new market demands. Assists with the testing of new products.

Minimum Requirements:

  Education and Experience Required

• Four-year degree in Mechanical or electrical engineering or similar discipline.
• Seven years’ experience in agricultural machinery research and development or manufacturing.
• Advanced knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and engine diagnostic systems

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities Required

• Advanced computer skills and experience with MS Office products, particularly Excel.
• Demonstrated ability to collect, analyze, interpret and present technical data.
• Excellent communications skills.
