Senior Project Engineer

Job Summary Senior Project Engineer responsible for the full lifecycle of capital projects, from concept through implementation, at the Greenwood, South Carolina Personal Care production plant. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with regional and global engineering teams to evaluate disruptive technologies and integrate advanced robotics. Lead capital projects from inception to closing, defining objectives, schedules, budgets, and vendor selection. Determine specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards; prepare technical studies and cost estimates. Design and run technical studies to implement advanced analytical testing on production lines, pioneer engineering solutions for e‑commerce packaging, new product molds, and high‑speed asset optimization. Evaluate and monitor project risks, develop risk response plans. Confirm peak product and asset performance by designing and executing testing and validation protocols (DQ/IQ/OQ/PQ). Integrate Environmental Occupational Health and Safety (EOHS) and cGMP standards, ensuring compliance with OSHA and EPA. Required Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical discipline. 6+ years engineering experience in a cGMP environment executing large‑scale capital projects. Strong understanding of Capital Expenditure Budget procurement processes, risk assessment, and vendor management. Portfolio of completed projects requiring collaboration with cross‑functional teams, plant leadership, and contractors on a high‑speed production floor. Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree in Engineering or Project Management, or PMP certification. Advanced proficiency with AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, and SAP. Compensation and Benefits Salary Range: $109,600.00 – $145,000.00 USD. Additional compensation may include discretionary bonuses, profit‑sharing, and long‑term incentives for executive roles.
