\nTax & Accounting Lead (CPA)
\nCincinnati, OH (7533 State Rd, east side), on-site 5 days a week
\nBase: $90 - $110,000
\nBonus: up to 10% annually, based on business growth
\n \nHelp build something new. PrairieView recently brought a Cincinnati accounting practice into the firm, and they're looking for a CPA to lead its team as it grows.
\n \nThe Role:
\nAs Tax & Accounting Lead, you'll lead a team of Accounting & Tax Specialists and Associates. You'll keep deadlines on track, make sure every deliverable is accurate and on time, and be the go-to expert when your team has tax and accounting questions. You'll report to the Head of Tax Operations.
\n \nKey Responsibilities:
\n• Manage and coach your team of Specialists and Associates
\n• Monitor workload and deadlines so deliverables go out accurately and on time
\n• Resolve discrepancies in client books and recommend improvements
\n• Serve as the escalation point for tax and accounting questions
\n• Review tax and accounting work for accuracy and quality before delivery
\n• Spot additional client needs and service opportunities
\n• Raise operational or HR concerns to the Head of Tax Operations
\n \nQualification Requirements:
\n• Active CPA license (required)
\n• 4+ years of tax and/or accounting experience, including reviewing others' work
\n• People-management experience preferred
\n• Hands-on experience with accounting software
\n• Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
\n• Excellent organization, attention to detail, and client communication
\n• Ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines
