LPN - Clinical I (MEDS)

Role Overview Provides direct and indirect outpatient nursing care under RN supervision, serving as a resource for LPNs. Responsibilities include reviewing and preparing medical records, implementing nursing procedures, administering treatments and vaccines, and documenting patient responses. Ensures compliance with health guidelines, manages immunization data, and assists with patient education and discharge plans. Key Duties Reviews, prepares, and follows up on patient records and needs. Administers treatments, medications, and immunizations per provider orders. Performs point-of-care testing and manages lab and imaging reports. Documents care, monitors patient responses, and collaborates on care plan revisions. Coordinates immunization activities, maintains vaccine inventories, and ensures compliance with guidelines. Trains and mentors LPNs and unlicensed staff; supports infection control practices. Assists with patient discharge, follow-up, and education, including vaccine data management. Performs within scope of practice, demonstrating clinical competency and cultural sensitivity. Qualifications Minimum of 12 months LPN experience. Hawaii LPN licensure and BLS certification. Knowledge of conflict resolution, customer service, and communication skills.
