Description of Work DNCR Human Resources Division of Archives and History, Land and Water is seeking a well-rounded Recruiter to join our team! The Recruiter will collaborate with the HR Team to accomplish the day-to-day aspects of recruitment, employment, and salary administration functions. This position handles recruitment and retention and has frequent interaction with managers, employees, applicants, and other divisions HR Team. This position requires experience utilizing HR policies and procedures and occasionally assisting in other HR functions such as position management, providing consultation to managers, and technical assistance in HR systems. Key Responsibilities Working independently as well as providing technical guidance to employees and managers. Meeting stringent deadlines. Handling multiple tasks simultaneously. Occasional day/overnight travel may be required. Division Description The Human Resources Office (HR) provides comprehensive human resources and safety services to all divisions throughout the agency. Current staffing is over 2,200 positions, plus seasonal/supplemental staffing. The core services include policy administration, employee relations, staff development, benefits, classification and compensation, recruitment and retention, salary administration, diversity and inclusion, performance management, safety and wellness.
