Wee Care Liberty Post is currently seeking a Part Time Medical Billing Associate in Dyer, IN and surrounding areas. Position Summary: The Medical Billing Associate is responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and resolving insurance denials in addition to provide administrative support in the front office. Essential Functions: Reviews denied, rejected, or underpaid insurance claims. Provides front-desk support including greeting visitors, answering incoming calls, and directing inquiries. Addresses customer service inquiries, tracks and follows up on pending claims. Contacts insurance companies to clarify or resolve claim issues. Qualifications, Knowledge an d Experience: High School Diploma required, associate's degree preferred. Minimum 2 years of experience in medical billing, insurance claims, customer service, and revenue cycle management. Proficient in data-entry, word-processing and database management. Ability to work independently. Understanding of commercial insurance. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
