Sr. Manager, Personal Loan Strategy

Piper Companies is seeking a Senior Manager of Personal Loan Strategy to join a leading financial services organization located in McLean, VA . The Senior Manager will drive the growth and strategic direction of the personal loan business, focusing on market expansion, portfolio performance, customer acquisition, and new growth opportunities. Please note this position is hybrid 3 days per week in McLean, VA. Responsibilities for the Senior Manager of Personal Loan Strategy Include: Develop and execute strategies to grow the personal loan business across new customer segments, markets, and distribution channels. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify industry trends and expansion opportunities. Evaluate new products, pricing strategies, partnerships, and distribution opportunities to improve portfolio growth and profitability. Define and monitor KPIs related to financial performance, customer acquisition, engagement, and retention. Partner with Credit Risk, Marketing, Product, Operations, Finance, and Technology to optimize the customer journey and conversion rates. Leverage data analytics to improve lending strategies, underwriting efficiency, and portfolio performance. Identify cross-sell, up-sell, and customer lifetime value opportunities. Lead complex cross-functional initiatives and present strategic recommendations to senior leadership. Develop relationships with fintechs, financial institutions, and external distribution partners. Qualifications for the Senior Manager of Personal Loan Strategy Include: 10+ years of experience in strategy, business planning, product management, personal loans, consumer lending, or financial services . Bachelor's degree in a related field required; Master's degree preferred. Deep understanding of consumer lending, credit risk, lending economics, customer acquisition, and retention strategies . Proven experience developing and executing growth and market expansion strategies. Strong analytical skills with experience in market research, competitive intelligence, and data-driven decision-making. Demonstrated ability to lead complex, cross-functional strategic initiatives. Strong executive communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. Experience with Excel, SQL, Tableau , or similar analytics tools preferred. Compensation for the Senior Manager of Personal Loan Strategy Includes: Salary: $175,000 - $200,000 depending on experience Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), PTO, and Sick Leave as required by law.
