Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ED RN for a Level 3 Trauma Center position in California, with TNCC certification and trauma experience required.

Details

• Emergency Department in a Level 3 Trauma Center, STEMI and Stroke receiving center
• 31-bed ED with 5 resuscitation bays and an average daily volume of 100+ patients
• Approximately 15% of patient volume is pediatric
• Day and evening shifts available, with start times varying between 0700, 0900, and 1100
• All shifts are 12 hours

Requirements

• Active CA RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC
• ENPC preferred
• Minimum 2 years of ED nursing experience
• Prior trauma experience required
• Strong knowledge of pediatric patient population required
• SSN and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide emergency nursing care in a high-volume trauma, STEMI, and stroke receiving environment
• Experience with resuscitation and trauma protocols is essential given the unit's acuity and volume
• 13-week contract
