Full Stack Engineer (Java/React)Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Full Stack Engineer (Java/React) for a right to hire assignment with one of our premier financial services clients in Tampa, FL.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for architecting, designing, and delivering complex, scalable application systems in partnership with the Technology team.Drives end-to-end application development, influences enterprise architecture decisions, and leads high-impact initiatives across both front-end and back-end platforms.Overall objective is to deliver robust, secure, and scalable solutions while setting engineering standards and guiding development teams.Lead the design, architecture, and implementation of full stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, and modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React)Drive end-to-end ownership of application delivery, from requirements and design through development, testing, and deploymentDefine and enforce best practices for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation aligned with enterprise architecture standardsPartner with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of technology solutions with business objectivesResolve complex, high-impact technical challenges through deep analysis of business processes, system flows, and industry standardsProvide architectural guidance and ensure systems are scalable, resilient, and high-performingLead development of microservices, APIs (REST/GraphQL), and cloud-native solutionsUtilize advanced understanding of data structures, object-oriented design, and system integration patternsDrive innovation through adoption of modern development practices, including CI/CD, DevOps, and AI-assisted development toolsMentor and coach junior and mid-level developers, providing technical leadership and oversightContribute to strategic planning by identifying opportunities for system enhancements and process optimizationEnsure adherence to risk, governance, and compliance standards, proactively identifying and managing system and operational risksRequired SkillsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience7–10+ years of software development experience, with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React)Proven experience designing and building scalable full stack and microservices-based architecturesAdvanced understanding of application architecture principles, design patterns, and system integrationStrong knowledge of backend development, API design, and distributed systemsFront-end expertise in building modern, responsive user interfaces using Angular/React, HTML5, and CSSDeep experience with SQL/PLSQL and relational databasesHands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools (e.g., Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, Docker, OpenShift)Familiarity with AI tools and their application in development workflowsStrong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skillsExperience working in Agile environments using tools such as JIRAPreferred SkillsOracle preferredExperience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) strongly preferredSGA is a technology and resource solutions provider driven to stand out.
