This role is ideal for candidates with a strong background in Hematology and proficiency with Sysmex and CellaVision systems. The position involves working in a busy core lab environment, ensuring that critical operations run smoothly, especially in the large neonatal units.

Key responsibilities of the Medical Technologist include:

• Handle complex lab samples, including turbid specimens, platelet clumps, and abnormal cell findings
• Perform accurate differentials within a busy core lab and neonatal environment
• Utilize Sysmex and CellaVision systems efficiently
• Manage workload effectively in a 600+ bed hospital laboratory

Requirements of the Medical Technologist include:

• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Hematology and busy core lab settings
• ASCP, AMT, AAB certification required
• Experience with Sysmex and CellaVision systems
• Proficiency in performing differentials in neonatal units
• Cerner experience preferred
