Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) InReach Rehab is seeking a flexible and dedicated full‑time or part‑time Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team at Box Butte General Hospital in Alliance, NE. This role is ideal for a clinician who enjoys helping patients regain independence, improve daily function, and enhance their quality of life while working as part of a collaborative rural healthcare team. Responsibilities Provide high‑quality occupational therapy services under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist. Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans focused on functional independence. Lead therapeutic interventions addressing ADLs, IADLs, strength, coordination, cognition, and safety. Document patient progress and maintain accurate, timely clinical records. Educate patients and caregivers on home programs and strategies to support continued progress. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized therapy environment. Collaborate with the rehabilitation team and other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated, patient‑centered care. Monitor patient progress and communicate treatment responses to the supervising Occupational Therapist. Participate in professional development and contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture. Qualifications Graduate of (or anticipated graduation from) an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program. Current Nebraska OTA license (or eligibility). Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Excellent documentation and time‑management skills. Commitment to patient‑centered care and functional outcomes.
