Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Certification Needed: ARRT or NMTCB State License Needed: IA State license Job Summary Our client is seeking a skilled Nuclear Technologist for a contract assignment. The primary responsibilities include performing nuclear medicine scans such as PET scans, stress tests, and gallbladder scans independently. The candidate should be able to manage scanning sessions effectively, anticipating an increase in the current scan volume of 20-25 scans per month. Responsibilities Conduct nuclear medicine scans independently. Perform PET and Nuc Med scans on designated days (Wednesday and Thursday). Operate Symbia evo XL equipment. Collaborate with support staff and multi-modality technicians. Assist in increasing the facility's scan volume. Qualifications ARRT or NMTCB certification. IA State license. Ability to work independently. Certification in additional modalities (preferred). Benefits Paid Sick Leave (Medix provides paid sick leave according to state and local sick leave ordinances).
