As a Senior Credentialing Coordinator, you will be at the center of ensuring providers are fully qualified, compliant, and ready to deliver exceptional care. What you will be doing:
- Take ownership of the full credentialing lifecycle, from verification to ongoing compliance
- Serve as the trusted liaison between medical staff and leadership
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and accrediting bodies
- Maintain and manage credentialing databases with precision and accuracy
- Track licenses, certifications, and clinical privileges to keep teams audit-ready
- Lead and support staff meetings, documentation, and credentialing communications
- Mentor and train team members, acting as a role model and subject matter expert
- Support hearings, appeals, and due process proceedings when needed
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and implement meaningful changes
- Own and lead strategic projects that drive departmental success

- Qualifications
- High School Diploma required
- 3+ years of credentialing or related healthcare experience preferred
- CPCS (Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist) or CMSC (Certified Medical Staff Coordinator) preferred
- Confidence in communicating with both clinical staff and leadership
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines with ease
- A proactive mindset with strong problem-solving skills
