Schedule

3x12 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, with holiday rotation and every other weekend required.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Certified Respiratory Therapist with experience in Pediatrics and a focus on NICU Level 4 and Pediatric Cardiac care. This role requires providing high-quality respiratory care to neonates and infants in a fast-paced, teaching hospital environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy to pediatric patients, including neonates and infants.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Monitor and assess patients' respiratory status and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding respiratory health.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care in the electronic health record (Epic).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of pediatric, neonate, and infant respiratory therapy experience.
• Current CRT certification, BLS, PALS, and NRP required.
• Active South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider (RCP) license required at time of start.
• Epic charting experience preferred.
