You’ll be dedicated to one elementary school site, providing consistency for both you and your students. With a weekly schedule of 35 hours, you’ll have the chance to make a meaningful impact while enjoying steady, structured work days.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Valid California SLP licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
- Prior experience with elementary school populations preferred
- Outstanding communication and collaboration abilities
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language services to elementary-aged students in both individual and group settings
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment goals and intervention plans tailored to each student's needs
- Collaborate with general and special education teachers, support staff, and families for integrated student care
- Monitor, document, and report on student progress towards IEP goals
- Participate in school-based meetings, including IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings
- Engage students in creative, engaging activities to strengthen communication skills
