Early Intervention Specialist – Soar Autism Center is hiring to join our transformative team dedicated to fostering the development of children with autism. As a care provider, you will apply behavioral and developmental strategies to assist in children’s development and teach skills that provide a critical foundation for a child's growth and learning. Key Responsibilities Provide attentive one‑on‑one care and behavioral/developmental support to children aged 2‑6, emphasizing a nurturing and encouraging environment Implement care plans under the guidance of our clinical team, ensuring they are suitable for the learning and growth of children Build relationships with children's families What The Job Is Like Plusses: Meaningfully impact children's growth, clear paths for career advancement, purpose‑led organization, multidisciplinary team Challenges: Can be demanding at times working with children, some routine care like diaper changes Qualifications Interest in and experience working with children – we are open to a diverse set of backgrounds and experiences in working with kids Preference given to those currently in a degree program or holding a degree Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Must have reliable transportation to both training location and local center; punctuality is essential Must be able to meet the following physical requirements: sit and stand frequently, shift positions quickly, lift up to 50 lbs., sit/kneel on the floor for extended periods, sit in a chair, stand, walk, and occasionally run short distances to catch up with a client What We Offer $21.50 – $28.50/hour with regular bonus and promotion opportunities; all staff members are considered every 3 months for a raise or promotion Comprehensive health benefits, including medical, dental, and vision plans Student loan repayment and tuition reimbursement benefits Opportunities for career exploration in Behavior Analysis, Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Psychology, and other roles A guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week for full‑time roles Supportive, paid training Tons of support from our multidisciplinary team A collaborative and fun environment where every team member's contribution is valued Join our team at Soar as an Early Intervention Specialist and take an active role in transforming the lives of children with autism.
