Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care on the Medical Surgical unit during night shifts. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, team-oriented, and committed to patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medication and monitor patient vital signs in accordance with care plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care strategies.
• Respond promptly to rapid response team activations and patient emergencies.
• Document patient information accurately using electronic charting systems.
• Float to like units as needed, maintaining compliance with scope of practice.
• Complete required pre-shift modules and ensure timely labs and assessments.

Qualifications:

• Must have at least 1 year of recent Medical Surgical nursing experience.
• Hold a valid RN license, preferably with a pending or active NM or Compact license.
• BCLS certification is required; CPI certification preferred.
• Demonstrate strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Be willing to work night shifts, including weekends, with scheduled rotations.
• Ability to quickly adapt to new environments and patient needs.
