Certifications: BLS, ACLS, Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, RCIS or equivalent, RCES preferred
Must-Have: Scrub experience in Ablations, CRM Devices, LAAO. LLE scrub experience preferred.
Description:
The position requires an RN specialized in Electrophysiology.
The average case load is 15-20 cases per day.
Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of EP lab experience.
The role involves managing cardiac arrhythmias and performing electrophysiology procedures.
Key skills required include scrubbing, circulating, documentation, and sterile technique.
Experience with X-ray equipment, hemodynamic monitoring, CARTO, and advanced arrhythmia management is essential.
Moderate sedation administration and management of arterial/venous sheaths are required.
Familiarity with emergency procedures, such as pericardiocentesis and defibrillator threshold testing, is necessary.
The department utilizes advanced technologies, including 3D mapping and intraoperative TEE.
The culture in the department is patient-focused, team-oriented, and excellence-driven.
Collaboration with physicians, fellows, teammates, and anesthesia staff is part of the role.
The position involves a weekend rotation of working 3-4 Saturdays within an 8-10 week period.
Schedule cycles occur every six weeks, with variable shift times.
This is a teaching facility that supports ongoing education and development.
