Temporary Extension Program Assistant Position Overview The purpose of this position is to assist team members with extension program development and support program implementation; evaluate current food safety programs and resources to identify barriers and limitations; aid in strategizing and coordinating food safety communication and outreach plans; design resources, record videos and more to supplement programs and information center; and aid in updating information sheets and other resources to improve accessibility. Work Schedule 15-25 hrs per week. Occasional evenings and weekends may be required. Responsibilities Assist team members with extension program development and support program implementation. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience Excellent written and verbal communication skills Preferred experience in public health, food science/technology, or food safety Benefits Attend non‑revenue generating sporting events for free.
