Litigation Paralegal

International law firm in NYC is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to join their organization. Minimum of 2 years litigation experience is required, with a preference for civil litigation.

Hybrid schedule: onsite 4 days per week, 1 day remote

Salary: 70-85k base + OT & bonus

Hours: 9:30am - 5:30pm

Responsibilities:

• Organize and tab exhibits, prepare witness kits, and assemble trial binders.
• Review and redact documents for case-sensitive matters.
• Monitor case dockets and summarize relevant pleadings and applications.
• Coordinate logistics for depositions and court appearances.
• Summarize trial transcripts and manage post-trial documents.
• Proofread and cite check legal documents using established standards.
• Collaborate with attorneys and colleagues in a team environment.
• Respond to competing demands with flexibility and adaptability.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree required; Paralegal certificate preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience; civil litigation preferred.
• Experience in tracking billable hours is highly beneficial.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.
• Flexibility to work overtime as required.
