Responsibilities

• Perform general ultrasound examinations, including small parts, vascular (lower and upper extremity venous), OB/GYN (fetal survey across 1st–3rd trimester), and pediatric studies (hips, spine, head, pylorus, intussusception)
• Conduct exams in both inpatient and outpatient settings within Radiology; prepare adequately labeled images and assist with preliminary interpretation as directed
• Maintain equipment, ensure image quality, and adhere to patient safety, infection control, and privacy standards
• Document findings and help generate accurate reports per departmental guidelines; collaborate with radiologists and clinical teams
• Operate across multiple area sites as needed, providing consistent ultrasound services to diverse patient ages

Requirements

• ARDMS RDMS certification and AHA BLS required at submission
• Minimum 3 years of ultrasound experience in the specified specialty
• EPIC EMR experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license with address matching demographics
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and to float to Cambridge, Somerville, and Everett as required
• Flu vaccine required during the season; RTO requests must be included at submission and may not be guaranteed after confirmation
• Up-to-date resume with 3+ years of experience and 2 recent manager/supervisor references; skills checklist matching the specialty
