Full-Time On-site Winchester, VA 22603, USA Pay or shift range: $24.50 USD to $26.50 USD The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.

Description

Essential duties are interpreted as being descriptive and not restrictive in nature. Other duties may be assigned.

1. Performs all work in a safe manner; promotes and fosters a safe work environment.
2. Accurately inventories all products on a routine (monthly/weekly) basis.
3. Performs SAP transactions, investigates errors, submits findings and necessary changes, generates corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
4. Performs any adjustments to reconcile inventory variance.
5. Proficient in operating lift truck to move, consolidate, load, or unload materials as required.
6. Performs resin and gas unloads from railcars/tankers.
7. Coordinates with carriers for incoming deliveries of pallets, tape, cores, housewrap master rolls.
8. Preps and coordinates purchase for resale items ready for shipment.
9. Completes daily readings on Silo/gas tanks, railcar inventory and roof inspection.
10. Receives MIGO (inventory and chemical transfer for production access) and matches receipt to PO.
11. Assists LTO's on advanced RF scan gun and monitors RF transactions or other computer problems.
12. Assists with on the job/ direct training of operators.
13. Manages customer returns ensuring prompt return to inventory.
14. Provides needed feedback, planning suggestions and improvements to the Planning and Production teams.
15. Responds to and reports any near miss, injury, accident or property damage to Safety Lead and Human Resources. Be able to start the investigation and paperwork.
16. Be able to lead Warehouse meeting and Safety Toolbox Talks.
17. Driving continuous improvement & efficiency with the warehouse.
18. Other tasks and duties as needed.

Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Must have at least one (1) year of inventory experience in manufacturing, warehouse or similar job/environment, or any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the required skills, knowledge and ability.

• Experience with business computer applications (Microsoft Office). Ideally excellent working knowledge of excel.
• SAP highly desired, will consider similar software experience.
• Work scheduled shift and overtime as needed.
• Effective communication skills, effective interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.

Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to draft routine reports and correspondence. Must be able to communicate orally and written in English.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures by using basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply and divide).

Reasoning Skills: Ability to apply common sense understanding to conduct instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to problem solve complex issues.
