Registered Nurse - Cardiovascular Unit

Location: Petoskey, MI

Contract Duration: 8 to 12 weeks

Compensation: $1939 - $2336 | Shift: 3x12 days

Become an integral part of a team that serves over 4,000 cardiology patients each year. Our facility is renowned for its advanced procedures, including PTCA, stent placements, TAVR, MitraClip, and bi-ventricular pacemakers, along with the management of patients suffering from congestive heart failure and conducting electrophysiology studies. Our unit has received accolades for its exemplary performance and dedication to achieving optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply clinical judgment to assess and address patient responses to actual or potential health issues.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver outstanding care to cardiovascular patients.
• Engage in national clinical trials overseen by our research department.
• Adhere to strict attendance policies to ensure uninterrupted patient care.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in Michigan is mandatory.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in an ICU environment is necessary.
• Experience with EKG interpretation is essential.
• Willingness to float to similar units as needed.
• Preferred experience in Neuro, CVICU, Trauma, ventilator management, CRRT, and Balloon Pumps.
• Completion of a skills checklist within one year of application is required.
