At Wellstar, your career is as personalized as the care we provide. Communication: Must be able to communicate verbally in what may be perceived as crisis situations with team members, patients, and family members to produce quality interaction.
* Teamwork: with EMT or Paramedic partner must work together to form solutions to unique problems respecting the input of their team member and coming to a common goal.
Quality/Safety: Must adhere to safety policies and procedures and act in a safe manner at all times in less than safe conditions including accident scenes or businesses and homes.
* Job Knowledge: Acts within the appropriate guidelines and scope of practice for the Paramedic role. Does not operate outside of the scope without on-line medical direction from the ED physician.
Financial Stewardship: Maintains accurate supply levels does not use equipment for purposes other than those for which they are intended. Complies with all WellStar Health System policies, standards of work, and code of conduct.

High School Diploma General or GED General or Accredited Program Other-Preferred

PARA - Paramedic
Minimum 1 year as an Emergency Medical Technician Preferred

Customer Service.
Writing, Judgement and Decision Making.
Report Writing.
