Land Survey Field Technician (Annapolis, MD) Responsibilities: Perform fieldwork year‑round, including boundary surveys, topographic surveys, ALTA surveys, and construction layout. Assist in maintenance of survey equipment and crew vehicle. Operate Trimble GPS, Trimble Robotic Total Stations, and data collectors. Learn and perform survey office tasks such as deed research, plotting, transferring fieldwork files, and processing fieldwork. Show willingness to advance and learn new survey skills and techniques. Education & Skills: Associate’s degree in engineering technology preferred; at least 5+ years of civil design experience required. Broad-based knowledge of standard methods in civil design. Ability to check plan design accuracy, note discrepancies, and make necessary changes. Complete design tasks in a timely manner; excellent communication skills; teamwork capability.
