SAP FICO Consultant

We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Consultant to support the design, configuration, implementation, and optimization of SAP Finance and Controlling solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with SAP FICO processes, S/4HANA Finance, business requirements, integrations, testing, and production support.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Configure, implement, and support SAP FICO solutions aligned with business and finance requirements.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into scalable SAP Finance and Controlling solutions.
• Configure and support General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Bank Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, and Product Costing.
• Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
• Configure and support financial processes, tax procedures, intercompany transactions, and financial reporting.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvements and SAP optimization.
• Develop functional specifications and coordinate with technical development teams for enhancements and integrations.
• Support integration between FICO and MM, SD, PP, PS, and other SAP modules.
• Participate in data migration, master data management, testing, cutover, deployment, UAT, and hypercare activities.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement effective corrective solutions.
• Support business users and provide functional guidance during implementation and post-production support.
• Ensure SAP Finance processes comply with organizational finance, audit, and control requirements.
• Coordinate with cross-functional and global delivery teams.
• Prepare functional documentation, process documentation, and knowledge transfer materials.

Required Qualifications

• Strong experience in SAP Finance and Controlling (FICO).
• Experience delivering 2–3 or more end-to-end SAP implementation projects.
• Strong hands-on configuration experience across core SAP FICO modules.
• Experience with financial closing, reporting, tax, intercompany, and financial accounting processes.
• Strong understanding of integration between SAP FICO and MM, SD, PP, PS, and other modules.
• Experience with data migration, master data, testing, cutover, UAT, production support, and hypercare.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience performing root cause analysis.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively in global delivery environments.

Preferred Skills

• SAP S/4HANA Finance experience.
• Experience with SAP Fiori and SAP reporting tools.
• Knowledge of CO-PA, FSCM, Treasury, or Group Reporting.
• Experience with SAP Activate and Agile methodologies.
• Experience supporting finance transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.
