Qualifications

• State License Willing to obtain is allowed.
• Certifications BLS. Willing to obtain allowed for BLS.
• Certifications Non-certified accepted.
• Specialty Experience 1+ years of experience in General in last 3 years.
• Specialty Experience 1+ years of experience in job's specialty in last 3 years.
• Skills Assessment GST skills assessment with 2.7+ score.
• References 2 references within the last 2 years.
• Additional Confirmations Proficiency in scrubbing techniques, maintaining a sterile field, and performing accurate instrument, sponge, and sharp counts is required.
• Additional Confirmations Ability to ensure all equipment is functioning properly and all parts are accounted for is required.
• Additional Confirmations Knowledge and adherence to policies and procedures related to aseptic technique and infection control is required.
• Additional Confirmations Knowledge of patient positioning, safe use of electrical and power equipment, and all equipment and instruments affecting patient outcome is required.
• Additional Confirmations Ability to function independently, take initiative, and assist Anesthesia and the OR team during patient code/critical situations is required.
• COVID Vaccine Medical and religious declinations are accepted. Willing to obtain allowed.
• Flu Vaccine (Current Season) Must be for the current flu season. Medical and religious declinations are accepted. Willing to obtain allowed.
• Travel Contract Must travel at least 50.0 miles to receive a travel stipend. Local candidates are eligible, but the pay package may adjust the rate by a few dollars per hour, will not contain a travel stipend, and will be entirely taxable.
