Construction Foreman
We are seeking an experienced Construction Foreman to lead field operations across a variety of residential and light commercial construction projects throughout the Lancaster, PA area. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who takes pride in quality craftsmanship, enjoys working alongside crews, and can keep projects running safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and actively participate in daily construction activities on residential, multifamily, renovation, remodeling, addition, new home, and light commercial projects.
- Supervise field crews, assign daily tasks, and ensure work is completed according to project plans and timelines.
- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, scopes of work, and other construction documents.
- Perform and oversee carpentry and general construction work while maintaining high standards of quality and workmanship.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and project management to ensure smooth project execution.
- Maintain safe, organized, and productive jobsites in compliance with company safety standards.
- Assist with project startups, inspections, punch lists, and project closeout activities.
- Identify field challenges, develop practical solutions, and minimize project delays.
- Track daily progress and communicate project updates, material needs, and scheduling concerns to management.
- Travel to project sites throughout the Lancaster, PA region.
