Overview: Job Title: Python AI/ML Engineer - AI & Automation Location: Tampa, FL (Local candidates only) Employment Type: Contract Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Python AI/ML Engineer to design, develop, and implement machine learning solutions for AI and automation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python, ML frameworks, and statistical analysis , with the ability to build scalable models and integrate them into production systems. This is an onsite contract role in Tampa, FL. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement machine learning models using Python.
- Perform data preprocessing, cleaning, and feature engineering for high-quality input data.
- Train, test, and evaluate machine learning models for performance and accuracy.
- Integrate ML models into production environments for real-world use cases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals and deliverables.
- Continuously optimize and improve model performance and scalability.
- Document model development processes, methodologies, and results.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science , Engineering, or related field .
- Proven experience with Python programming.
- Hands-on expertise with TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-Learn .
- Strong understanding of statistical and mathematical principles in ML.
- Experience with data libraries such as Pandas and NumPy .
- Strong data preprocessing and feature engineering skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with a focus on delivering scalable solutions.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
