Locum MD (Medical Doctor), DO (Osteopathic Doctor) Radiation Oncology

As a key player in our Radiation Oncology department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with cancer using radiation therapy
• Develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with the oncology team
• Conduct patient consultations and follow-ups to monitor treatment progress
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation for compliance
• Collaborate with nurses, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and radiation guidelines
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care
• Stay updated on advancements in radiation oncology practices

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
• Current medical license to practice in the state of Florida
• Experience in Radiation Oncology, ideally within a clinical environment
• Strong understanding of oncology treatment protocols and radiation techniques
• Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team setting
• Commitment to providing compassionate and comprehensive patient care
• Willingness to comply with all safety and regulatory requirements

Schedule: 8-hour day shifts

Daily Volume: 4+ consults and 20-25 treatments

Dedicated support staff

EMR: Mosaiq and Epic

On-Site Resources: Electa machines & MR-Linac

Radiopharmaceutical & GI/GU experience preferred

Must be board-certified

Paid travel & expenses
