Key Responsibilities Develop trusting relationships with clients by creating a safe and open environment for discussion. Assess, diagnose, and treat a variety of mental health disorders, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques. Craft personalized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs and circumstances of each patient. Hold regular counseling sessions—both individual and group—encouraging clients to actively participate in their healing process. Conduct ongoing assessments to monitor progress and make timely adjustments to treatment plans as needed. Refer clients to specialized services or external resources, ensuring comprehensive care coordination. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client interactions and treatment progress in compliance with clinic standards and legal requirements. Patient Population / Client Focus Your role involves working with a diverse clientele, including individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and other mental health challenges. You will provide culturally sensitive therapeutic approaches that respect and address the unique backgrounds and needs of each client, creating tailored interventions to support their mental health journey. Qualifications Active state licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required. A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is essential. Demonstrated experience in providing individual and group therapy is necessary. Strong organizational and time management skills are crucial for effective workload management and administrative responsibilities. Preferred Experience Previous experience working in a community mental health setting is highly preferred. Familiarity with online therapy platforms and digital health tools will enhance your effectiveness in this role. Experience in formulating and implementing evidence-based therapeutic practices. Compensation and Benefits The salary for this role ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
