Early Childhood SLP for School-Based Therapy (Ages 3-5)

Job Description Job Description Minimum 1+ years speech therapy experience required. SLP-CCC or CF, Early Childhood Calling on Speech-Language Pathologists (Clinical Fellows or ASHA-certified Speech Pathologists) with a passion for working with young students who need support in their language and communications development! Soliant is seeking a contract SLP who can work with children aged 3-5. The applicant will be covering numerous locations in MonroeCounty, working with a range of Special Education centers, to daycare locations. Requirements: Master's degree in Speech Pathology or Communications Disorders Pennsylvania SLP license (Case by case) Education specialist certificate from the PA Department of Education (Clinical Fellows can work with a pending certificate) Additional information about the team, and the building assignments, will be shared in a direct interview with school administrators, following a successful phone screening with Soliant representatives. As a education setting SLP, you will: Assess students referred for possible speech and language needs. Determine eligibility for speech services, and work with an interdisciplinary team to determine appropriate goals Provide individual and/or group therapy sessions for childrenwith identified speech and language disorders. Develop individualized education plans (for childrenwith special education needs)and present them to parents, school administrators, and others involved with student evaluations. Consult with teachers, counselors, parents, nurses, and administrators on speech and language concerns. Maintain accurate records for all childrenon the caseload. Provide reports of children'sprogress to parents. Organizecaseload and develop a schedule for each assigned school or classroom Develop resource materials for use in speech and language development.
