Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive gastrointestinal assessments and provide personalized patient care.
• Conduct diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create optimal treatment plans for patients.
• Educate patients and their families on gastrointestinal health, treatment options, and preventive care.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all patient interactions and treatment plans.
• Engage in continuous education and professional development in the field of gastroenterology.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to clinical research efforts.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Active and unrestricted medical license to practice in Arkansas.
• Board certification or eligibility in Gastroenterology.
• Demonstrated expertise in a broad range of gastrointestinal disorders.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills focused on patient relations.
• Ability to work effectively within a collaborative healthcare team.
• Commitment to continued learning and professional growth within the specialty.
