Human Resources Business Partner

The Human Resources Business Partner is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated business unit(s)/region(s). The HRBP serves as a strategic advisor to business leaders, partnering to develop and implement people strategies that support organizational goals, drive business performance, and enhance organizational effectiveness. The position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflect the business objectives of Northwest. The HRBP maintains an effective level of business literacy regarding the business unit's financial position, strategic priorities, culture, competitive environment, and workforce needs.

Essential Functions

• Partner with business leaders to align talent strategies and workforce initiatives with business objectives.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders on organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, talent development, and change management.
• Provide guidance and consultation on organizational design, team structure, and workforce optimization initiatives.
• Lead workforce planning efforts, including talent forecasting, succession planning, and identification of critical talent risks.
• Analyze workforce trends, talent metrics, and business data to identify opportunities and recommend solutions that support business performance.
• Partner with leaders to develop strategies that improve employee engagement, retention, productivity, and organizational health.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to support hiring strategies, workforce growth plans, and critical talent needs.
• Facilitate talent review processes and support leadership development initiatives across assigned business units.
• Identify organizational capability gaps and partner with Learning & Development to create targeted development solutions.
• Support and lead change management efforts related to organizational transformations, business initiatives, and workforce changes.
• Conduct regularly scheduled meetings with assigned business unit(s)/region(s) to discuss business priorities, talent needs, and workforce strategy.
• Analyze trends and metrics and partner with HR counterparts to develop solutions, programs, and policies that support business outcomes.
• Provide guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning, and succession planning.
• Ensure compliance with Northwest's policies and procedures and applicable Federal and State regulations.
• Navigate Microsoft Office Software, computer applications, and software specific to the department to maximize technology tools and efficiencies.
• Work as part of a team.
• Work with on-site equipment.

Education + Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field; or equivalent Human Resources experience.
• 6-8 years of Human Resources experience.
• Experience serving as an HR Business Partner supporting business leaders and organizational strategy preferred.
• Experience within the financial services or banking industry preferred.

This position works onsite Monday - Thursday. Fridays are an optional work from home day.
