Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract

Make a meaningful difference as a travel OT with Jackson Therapy Partners. We’re seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve their daily skills while exploring a brand-new location.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
Active Florida Occupational Therapy state license required to start the assignment.
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA or ARC preferred.
Prior outpatient occupational therapy experience required.
Demonstrated experience treating hand conditions and comfort making custom splints required.
Experience managing a full hand caseload and documenting letters of medical necessity preferred.
Ability to complete timely, accurate clinical documentation and meet regulatory and payer requirements.
Strong clinical reasoning skills with experience developing treatment plans focused on functional return and discharge planning.

Assignment Details

Facility Type: Outpatient clinic.
Duration: 13 Week assignment.
Shift Pattern: 5x8 schedule.
Caseload Focus: Full hand caseload; must be comfortable making splints.
May be responsible for delegation and direction of discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients.
