X-Ray Technician

Role Overview Perform diagnostic radiology procedures, including body mechanics and patient movement, using knowledge of anatomy and physiology. Operate imaging equipment, develop films, and prepare exam rooms with necessary supplies. Assist with Medical Assistant duties, patient transfers, and provider-supervised procedures. Key Responsibilities Greet patients promptly, communicate wait times, and provide guidance throughout treatment. Obtain and document vital signs, medical history, and current medications. Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures, adhere to radiation protection protocols, and maintain equipment functionality. Complete accurate documentation and perform quality control checks. Follow clinical and regulatory procedures, and seek ongoing skills development. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or equivalent, BLS certification, and TN State X-Ray License are required. ARRT certification is preferred. Prior experience as a Medical Assistant is advantageous. Strong communication, patient care, and safety awareness are essential. Additional Info Full-time team members work rotating 12-hour shifts, including weekends, while PRN staff work as needed.
